K west Hotel & Spa, the cool 4 star deluxe hotel in Shepherds Bush is currently searching for a pro active & driven Assistant Spa Manager to join our Award winning Spa team.
With 219 rooms, a holistic spa, fitness club and music in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights our Hotel is always buzzing with energy!
K West Hotel & Spa has built a reputation for contemporary design, extra large bedrooms and a “Vibe” that appeals to the leisure and corporate markets particularly, in the entertainment industry.
The Hotel is a busy vibrant property in West London and plays an important role within the local community as a venue and as an employer.
As Assistant Spa Manager, you will have a passion for hospitality and a ‘whatever it takes attitude’!
To act as team leader, and support the Spa Manager in all aspects of the operations, identifying and reporting any areas of concern, as well as recommending and implementing any improvement that may benefit the Spa operations.
To be positive and driven when achieving team retail targets.
To ensure that warm, friendly and professional welcome is given to all clientele at all time.
Ensure H&S is followed at all times and work is carried out in a safe manner.
Day to day responsibilities for equipment, products cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment room, stock room are maintained at all time.
Attention to detail
Ability to be discreet and act in a confidential manner
Maintain professional appearance at all time and conduct behaviour in a mature and professional manner.
This is a full time position, 40-hours a week over 5 days with two days off.
Working weekends and a flexible approach towards the hours of work is a requirement for the role.
NVQ 2, 3 and minimum experience 2 years
CIBTAC - Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology
CIDESCO International Beauty Therapy Association
Flexible approach towards the hours of work required
Good Communication skills with clients, guest and colleagues alike
Proactive, flexible and energetic with a passion for excellent customer service delivery
Able to keep calm under pressure
Good Spa therapy and product knowledge
Adaptable and accountable for all actions, and not afraid to commitment and learning
Highly organized, able to juggle several tasks simultaneously
